The French ministry of transportation equipment in tourism - who are responsible for all mechanic  ski lifts in France - granted the Trikke Skki access to the chairlifts in France. The official authorization came after a day of testing in Tignes with Jerome Chauvet as delegate of the STRMTG (ministry). 

The authorization is for chairlifts (1,5m/s) and cabin lifts. Please note that not all French ski areas allow the Trikke Skki on their lifts. The final authorization lies with the major of the village or ski area.
